in europe people is crazy about soccer world championship. how is the atmosphere in SA about this event?
The radio and TV is really blowing thing up and promoting the soccer like crazy. A few months ago we thought the event will be the hugest thing, radically changing the country and the people but with slow ticket sales, it seems like a lot of people have been over optimistic in terms of the amount of visitors the World Cup will attract. However, I am impressed with the way the infrastructure around the country has been upgraded- wider roads, bus lanes, new airports, etc.
are you going to follow the event?
No, I’ll be in the US racing, unfortunately. I dont think there will be much soccer coverage in the US.
except SA who are you going to cheer?
Brazil.
who will win the champs?
Dont care.
is there any football player you like?
